I started practicing law as an insurance defense attorney in 1991 but quickly realized that I was on the wrong side of the fence. The "good guys" are the ones helping victims put their lives back in order after an injury or the loss of a loved one. It didn't take me long to figure this out and since 1994 I’ve been representing victims of personal injury. After more than a decade working with a top rated personal injury firm, I started my own practice so that I could help my clients even more. Now, with three decades of litigation and trial experience and having successfully handled many important cases that have appeared on CNN's Headline News, Trials Digest and the cover of the Los Angeles Daily Journal, I know how to get the job done. From the beginning to the end, you'll have my experience in your corner so you won't have to take on the insurance industry alone.
Upholding the law has always been my passion. My interest in the law was present from a young age and became even more important as the years passed. While in college and law school, I worked in private security which lead to a number of courtroom experiences, including testifying in criminal trials. It was a fascinating experience, and there really is no substitute for having been on the witness stand in a jury trial. With that exposure and as I continued my formal education, I found my true place — practicing law.
For the last 30 years I have practiced in the personal injury field, and from having worked on both sides, I have developed a unique insight that a lot of attorneys simply do not possess. The particular focus of my law practice may have changed over time, but my purpose never has. I was raised in a midwestern family with a strong moral compass, and to this day, more than anything, I want to do what’s right. The way I see it, helping those who have been victimized is ALWAYS the right thing to do — plain and simple.
Finding the right strategy for each injury case is one of my favorite parts of my job. I believe that with great strategy comes great solutions to the cases I handle. From inception, to settlement negotiations and through trial, your case is handled with a purpose...maximizing your recovery for the personal injuries and damages you suffered.
Every case is different, but after 30 years of practice in the personal injury field, I’ve seen a little bit of everything. Whatever concern you may have, I’m ready to address it. Few attorneys have litigated and tried such a variety of cases, from car accidents to medical malpractice and nearly everything in between. You deserve an expert in your corner.
Each personal injury case is a unique challenge. Fortunately, I’m not one to back down. I’ve litigated, settled and tried even the most complex matters. In the practice of law, aggression tempered with reason will nearly always get the job done. You need a courageous attorney to direct your case and get you the compensation you deserve.

He provided me with guidance, was professional at all times, and obtained what I felt to be a more than fair settlement based on what injuries I suffered.
